A set of 8bit tunes inspired by classic NES (mostly Konami) games.
Aboard the abandoned experimental submarine laboratory S.S. Ophion.
Processed 8 and 16 bit sounds and other happy things.
Your home planet is under attack!! No time to ask questions, get your space fighter, giant mech, battle suit, energy saber, or whatever your particular weapon of choice may be and blast the suckers away.
Now for something darker.
Playing around making new synth sounds.
Far from everything, in the middle of nowhere, lies a solitary observatory where small groups of astronomers spend late nights looking at the starry sky with unshakable discipline and everlasting wonder. And drinking cocoa.
The Earth is about to be lost to an agressive and mysterious alien invasion. You’re an ace fighter pilot flying right into the fray in an experimental ship designed with co-opted alien technology. Your mission: to survive and blast as many of the buggers as you can in the process.
Here’s something darker and more ambient-oriented. The kind of music you would expect to hear in a space espionage game.
I tried complementing old-school game sounds and simple synths with more ambienty effects so it has an eerie but oddly peaceful atmosphere.
Cozy and colorful sounds and simple melodies. This song would go well in a game about riding horses in the sky.
